Identifying the top high salary and value catcher plays from around Major League Baseball for your July 21 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

J.T. Realmuto, Marlins (4,600): Let’s be honest — it’s not a banner day for catcher options in DFS. Realmuto is the top-priced backstop, and he’s a decent option against Philadelphia Phillies right-hander Jerad Eickhoff (6-10, 3.76 ERA). Realmuto is hitting .346 against righties this season. His power is limited, but he could pile up a few hits and runs.

Cameron Rupp, Phillies (3,800): Rupp is generally a better play against left-handed pitchers, but again, on a short slate, the catching options are limited. He’s 1-for-2 with two RBI against Miami Marlins right-hander Tom Koehler (6-8, 4.68 ERA). He’s an interesting option at a reasonable price.

High Value

Nick Hundley, Rockies (3,400): Hundley was a major disappointment in the Rockies’ recent home series against Tampa Bay, going hitless in the two games he played. We’re going back to the well once again with him though. The Rockies have one of the highest expected run totals (7.0) on the board, and Hundley is 2-for-7 with a double and two RBI against Atlanta Braves righty Mike Foltynewicz (3-3, 3.70 ERA).

Next: All-Time 25-Man MLB Roster

Sandy Leon, Red Sox (3,000): Here’s another favorite of ours. Leon continues to put up solid numbers, but his price remains firmly fixed around the 3,000 mark. On Wednesday, Leon homered and finished with 26 DK points. Expect him to stay hot Thursday against struggling Minnesota Twins right-hander Tyler Duffey (5-6, 5.23 ERA).
