Josh Gordon reinstated by NFL, will face 4 game suspension
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon will be suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season after being reinstated by the league.
The Cleveland Browns have struggled to find any consistency with their wide receivers. Josh Gordon has been terrific for them when he has been on the field, but unfortunately, a variety of suspensions have kept him off the field more often than he has been on it. After being suspended indefinitely by the NFL, the league has reinstated him. Gordon will face a four game suspension to start the 2016 season.

His reinstatement will likely have a clause about testing positive for one of the NFL’s banned substances. Considering how many times Gordon has failed tests in the past, it’s hard to imagine that the NFL would be willing to give him much of a leash.
If Gordon can stay on the field, he unquestionably makes the Browns a better team. They are much more explosive when he is on the field. Gordon is a threat to score any time he touches the ball thanks to his excellent speed and agility. Having Gordon around would be a great thing for quarterback Robert Griffin III, who is trying to revive his career with the Browns.
Gordon last saw the field in 2014 when he had 303 receiving yards and 24 receptions in five games. In 2013, Gordon led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards despite missing the first two games of the season. He also had 805 yards in 16 games (13 starts) in 2012.
