Live tracker for the WWE RAW results on the July 25 episode from Pittsburgh, PA

WWE Battleground 2016 has come and gone and serves as a distinct marker for where the brand split begins and ends. Now it’s separate rosters for WWE RAW and Smackdown LIVE and Monday, July 25 from Pittsburgh, PA for WWE RAW will give fans their first look in what they can expect from this new era of the show.

One thing that we know we can expect is that there is no world champion on WWE RAW right now as both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns failed to get the victory over Dean Ambrose at Battleground, leaving us here. You have to wonder then what’s next for these two superstars and if the show has any plans for a world title of their own.

Another shoe that fans are waiting for to drop on WWE RAW is the impending debut of Finn Balor. The former NXT Champion’s debut has been long awaited, but it’s now imminent after he was the No. 5 overall pick in the WWE Draft. Could Pittsburgh finally be the place where he makes his debut? We’re certainly about to find out.

Then of course you also have the still boiling feud with Women’s Champion Charlotte and Sasha Banks which seems to inevitably be leading to a match at SummerSlam. What are the next steps to getting there, though.

You can follow along with all of the results and happening on WWE RAW with our live tracker just below once the show begins at 8 p.m. ET.

New title!

Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon opened up WWE RAW, starting off with a bang by announcing the creation of a new world title: the WWE Universal Championship:

They then announced that there would be two Fatal 4-Ways with the winners facing off to determine who will face Seth Rollins at SummerSlam for the title. Those eight competitors were Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Rusev, Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Chris Jericho, and the debuting Finn Balor.

With all of this going on in the company after the WWE Draft and with the repercussions of the brand split still looming, there is plenty of discussion to be had. Join our discussion down in the comments below.

Finn Balor vs Rusev vs Cesaro vs Kevin Owens

The first Fatal 4-Way would start off the show and in a big way. These four guys put on a long, fantastic match and absolutely slayed it from the opening bell to the pin.

In the end, WWE RAW really was Finn Balor’s coming out party as he picked up the win over Rusev after hitting the Coup de Grace.

Winner: Finn Balor

Nia Jax Debuts

NXT call-up Nia Jax made her debut on WWE RAW against a local talent (jobber) and absolutely destroyed their existence.

Winner: Nia Jax

Fatal 4-Way Numero Dos

This second of the two Fatal 4-Way matches really might not have been as good the first, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t still quite enjoyable. In the end, though, they set up an interesting main event as Finn Balor will face the winner of this match, Roman Reigns.

Winner: Roman Reigns

New…Day Rocks! New…Day Rocks!

New Day came out to celebrate the fact that they broke the record for the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history. They then pulled a fan into the ring from the seats to enjoy the celebration. However, their party was ultimately rudely interrupted when The Club came out to disrupt the proceedings and essentially pick a fight with New Day.

Neville’s Back!

Neville has returned from injury too. Coming back and having a match on RAW with Curtis Axel. Of course The Man that Gravity Forgot went over.

Winner: Neville

SHE DID IT

Sasha Banks vs Charlotte for the Women’s Championship was announced at the start of the show with everyone expecting them to just set up a match at SummerSlam. However, they had something bigger in store.

After a great match—one of the best women’s matches in quite a few times—Sasha hit the Bank Statement numerous times, but finally got Charlotte to tap to become the new Women’s champ.

Winner and New Women’s Champion: Sasha Banks

Braun Strowman vs Jobber

Braun Strowman has a new haircut. He’s also large and made a small jobber look small.

Winner: Braun Strowman

Enzo and Cass vs The Shining Stars

Enzo and Big Cass were out for their normal promo and were just getting warmed up when the Shining Stars interrupted them. They then had a quick match where one team looked ready for the big time and the other was the Shining Stars.

Winners: Enzo and Big Cass

Finn Balor vs Roman Reigns

If you were worried about WWE immediately feeding Finn to Roman—think again. This match was first off quite good, but it stole the show even more when Finn Balor was able to get Reigns down again and hit the Coup de Grace for the win to punch a ticket to WWE SummerSlam.

Winner: Finn Balor

It’s just one night and they obviously plan to make Finn Balor a big deal going forward, but who knew it was going to happen this quickly? Either way, it sure as hell makes things more interesting that it did happen this fast and makes you have to wonder what’s next.
