Taking a look at when the Dallas Cowboys start training camp and where the team will practice

Things didn’t go quite as planned for the Dallas Cowboys in the 2015 NFL season. While they entered the year as the likely favorite to win the NFC East and head back into the playoffs, injuries to quarterback Tony Romo derailed that in a major way as the train of backups including Brandon Weeden and Kellen Moore simply weren’t able to cut it.

Now it’s time for a new beginning for the Dallas Cowboys with Romo back healthy, with more weapons at their disposal, and hopefully with much more success awaiting them. That’ll all start at Cowboys training camp, though.

If there’s one thing everyone’s waiting to see for the Cowboys, it’s undoubtedly what rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott looks like behind the offensive line in Dallas. While he has his own set of off-the-field issues going on that might warrant him being suspended, there’s reason to be excited about what he could do on the field if you’re a Cowboys fan.

On top of that, it’s impossible to not again mention Romo’s return as that will also be important to watch at training camp. In addition at quarterback, though, it’ll be intriguing to see if rookie Dak Prescott will be able to secure the backup role in training camp to hopefully sure up that position in case last year starts to repeat itself.

With all of this happening, fans must be asking when Cowboys training camp starts and where will the team be practicing.

Cowboys training camp starts for both rookies and veterans on July 29 in Oxnard, CA as they practice at the River Ridge Playing Fields.
