Identifying the top high salary and value third baseman plays from around Major League Baseball for your July 29 DraftKings lineup.

Our goal is to help you win DraftKings contests with consistently strong lineups. To accomplish that, we’ll be highlighting some higher salary players worth paying up for, and some value picks that will help you save salary in key areas. These picks are specifically for DraftKings lineups, so all references to prices and fantasy points are based on DK figures.

As always, be sure to double-check final MLB lineups and monitor weather situations before locking in your DFS lineups.

High Salary

Josh Donaldson, Blue Jays (5,200): The reigning American League Most Valuable Player is hitting .317 at home this season, making him a viable play anytime Toronto plays at Rogers Centre. Donaldson is also 4-for-12 with a double in his career against Baltimore Orioles righty Kevin Gausman (2-7, 3.77 ERA). Expect plenty of runs in this matchup, and Donaldson to be a major reason why.

Justin Turner, Dodgers (5,000): Teammate Corey Seager might be Los Angeles’ new favorite star, but Turner is quietly putting together a nice season of his own. The 31-year-old is hitting .305 with 15 of his 18 home runs against right-handed pitchers this season, so he stands out as a solid play against Arizona Diamondbacks righty Zack Godley (3-1, 5.88 ERA).

High Value

Miguel Sano, Twins (3,700): Sano is a risky play, but the upside is there anytime he faces a left-handed pitcher. The 23-year-old slugger is hitting .286 with an impressive .571 slugging percentage against lefties this season, so there’s reason to like his matchup Friday with Chicago White Sox southpaw Jose Quintana (8-8, 2.97 ERA).

Joey Gallo, Rangers (3,200): Like Sano, Gallo is very much a boom-or-bust option. In his two starts since being called up, Gallo has posted 14 DK points (1-for-4, HR) and zero DK points (0-for-3). Gallo is best viewed as a GPP option, but if you’re playing him, you’re banking on a home run. He faces Kansas City Royals right-hander Edinson Volquez (8-8, 4.56 ERA) on Friday.
