WWE shows are known to have celebrities show up here and there. This could be in the ring, in a backstage segment, or in the crowd. Sometimes, it’s a sports star from the city that WWE is touring in.

On Monday night, Dwight Howard would appear in the in the crowd for WWE Raw in Atlanta, GA. Howard signed a multi-year contract with the Atlanta Hawks in the offseason and is originally from the area. He was in the seats with fellow Hawk Tim Hardaway Jr.

Howard is a fan of WWE, as he has appeared at events before.

The former No. 1 pick hasn’t been a guest host for WWE programming, but could be a fit one day. He would may be a better fit than next Monday’s guest, Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs or Flo Rida, who always seems linked with the company.

Dwight Howard will be throwing down buckets for the Hawks in October. He’ll be doing this while making millions of dollars playing in his hometown. Maybe along with the way, he’ll perform a wrestling move on the court and get a technical foul. Would we have a future WWE star on our hands?
