The Tennessee Titans could be changing their uniforms as they attempt to go through a culture change.

While the Tennessee Titans are a team long mired in mediocrity, the arrival of Marcus Mariota as a potential long-term cornerstone seems to have them headed in the right direction. One thing that has remained consistent throughout the years, though, is the team’s uniforms, although SportsLogos.net is reporting that 2018 could bring a change on that front as well.

During a recent training-camp interview with ESPN, the controlling owner of the Titans had this to say about a potential uniform change:

"We can refresh and they definitely could use a little updating, but it takes a while to get that done. I kind of visited with the league office about it a little bit a couple months ago. But we got so busy that I didn’t go back to it.We started out with changing the carpet… Never say never."

The Titans’ uniforms aren’t anything special, but that doesn’t mean they’re in need of an upgrade. Still, after so many losing seasons, you can forgive ownership for wanting some wholesale change — even if whatever adjustments come about likely won’t affect the logo or color scheme.
