Now they’ll have another matchup where they’ll look to assert their supremacy in this competition as it’ll be USA vs Basketball inside Carioca Arena 1 on Monday afternoon.

Kevin Durant and DeMarcus Cousins predictably led the way for Team USA in their win over China, but it could legitimately be anyone on any given day that wins games for USA Basketball. When you have the likes of Kyrie Irving, Paul George, Jimmy Butler, Klay Thompson and so many other in addition to Durant and Cousins, that’s the kind of firepower you can expect.
As for the Venezuela team, they have talent like captain and shooting guard Jose Vargas, but there’s no way they can match the overall talent level and depth of USA Basketball. Unfortunately for Venezuela, this could be another blowout at the hands of the Americans.
