Leslie Jones’ Rio Olympics coverage has been a delight — and now she gets to do it live at the Olympics.

If you have not been paying attention to Twitter for the Rio Olympics, you’ve been missing out on some hilarious commentary from anyone and everyone. One of the best unofficial commentators has been Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones, who typically takes short videos of her TV screen and then weighs in with excellent use of all caps and exclamation points.

She got an official invite from NBC to join them down in Brazil yesterday, and today, she accepted — with, of course, a Twitter video or two.

The above video shows Jones wearing an official Rio Olympics 2016 hat, and is captioned “RIO BOUND BABY USA! USA!!” But one video wasn’t enough to capture her excitement.

“We gonna win everything I’m telling you!! I AM AMERICAN SPIRIT!! USA!! USA!!” the second video is captioned. Finally, Jones added a couple of tweets to round off her big announcement:

She tweeted, “Ok packing I’m in the middle of watching Olympics so I might miss some stuff!” Then, about an hour later, she added, “You guys I’m gonna show y’all everything lmao!! Good and bad! Hopefully it’s all good! SO EXCITED!! USA! USA!!”

If you haven’t been following Leslie Jones on Twitter, you’ve been missing out. Hopefully she’ll keep it up when she reaches Rio for the Olympics. (Maybe she’ll even get that shirt from U.S. swimmer Conor Dwyer.)

Entertainment Weekly reports that she’ll be in Rio de Janeiro by the end of the week and will join NBC’s team as a contributor when she arrives. Is it too late to ask that she basically comments on anything and everything Team USA-related?

Possibly. But we’ll ask anyway.
