Live tracker for the WWE RAW results on the August 8 episode from Anaheim, CA

WWE RAW only has two more episodes until WWE SummerSlam is here, meaning that there could still be a great deal that has to happen. With RAW General Manager Mick Foley inviting Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan to Anaheim, CA for the August 8 episode of WWE RAW and with Puff Daddy scheduled to make an appearance, who knows what’s going to happen.

Next: 50 Best Professional Wrestlers Of All-Time

Obviously the safest assumption regarding Daniel Bryan appearing on WWE RAW is that it’s to address the ongoing situation between Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. The two superstars have a match in Brooklyn on the SummerSlam card, but they can’t seem to keep their hands off of one another. As such, look for the two GMs to try and rectify that situation and make sure Lesnar and Orton make it to Brooklyn in one piece.

Meanwhile, the feud for the still-yet-to-be-revealed WWE Universal Championship wages on as Finn Balor looks to make an impact immediately by winning the WWE RAW brand’s biggest and newest title in his first pay-per-veiw match on the main roster. What’s next for him and Seth Rollins in the build-up to SummerSlam, though.

In addition to that, Sasha Banks and Charlotte are still coming after one another over Banks’ Women’s Championship and that feud will likely progress. The same can be said for Rusev and Roman Reigns over the United States title and with New Day and The Club  over the tag titles. Either way, things are highly combustable on WWE RAW right now and you won’t want to miss a second of the action.

And you don’t have to miss a thing that happens on WWE RAW on Monday, August 8. We’ll be live tracking the results below once the show begins at 8 p.m. ET. Also be sure to get involved in the discussion at the bottom of the page in the comments.

Really Good Wrestlers and Talkers Talking…

Enzo Amore and Big Cass were out to the ring to start WWE RAW with Enzo recapping him being in the ring with Sasha Banks last week before he called out Chris Jericho for messing that up.

Jericho indeed did come out, but didn’t come out to the ring without his newfound backup, Kevin Owens.

Y2J and Owens then came down to the ring as the two duos had a promo battle that was solid. It all ended with Jericho cowering from Big Cass, though, and ultimately set up a match between Jericho and Enzo.

Chris Jericho vs Enzo Amore

Perhaps the best way to describe this would be a decent, but weird match between these two. However, they did hit their rhythm a bit in the middle for some nice transitions, storytelling, and spots.

The finish was a weird one, though, as Kevin Owens got involved, Jericho hit a Codebreaker on Enzo. Before there could be a pinfall, though, Big Cass hit Y2J with the Big Boot for the DQ.

Winner: Chris Jericho

After the match, Cass challenged Jericho and Owens to a tag team match at SummerSlam, which the pair of Canadians accepted.

Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooke was announced for later in the evening.

The Braun Strowman Killing a Jobber Invitational

Braun Strowman had a match against a jobber. It was not pretty for the jobber.

Winner: Braun Strowman

New Day Meets Puff Daddy

Puff Daddy is at RAW and Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were the first superstars to meet him on camera. The results were delightful.

Darren Young vs Titus O’Neil

Next up we had Darren Young facing his former tag team partner in a match after things escalated last week. Apparently Bob Backlund is indeed making him great again as DY put on a solid match and picked up a big win.

Winner: Darren Young

Seth Rollins Slaying a Promo

Seth Rollins came out to address Finn Balor regarding their match at SummerSlam for the Universal Championship. He absolutely killed it, setting up Demon Balor, raising the stakes, and just making the match seem more meaningful.

Beautiful.

Sheamus vs Cesaro

In a match that was made to determine “who the bigger powerhouse is,” these two superstars put on a great match. This might be one of the five best Sheamus matches that we’ve ever seen.

Cesaro picked up the win on a screwy finish, though, as Sheamus rolled him up but with the ref out of action after taking an elbow. The Swiss Superman then returned the roll-up favor for the three-count and win.

Winner: Cesaro

The Dudley Boyz vs Neville and Sin Cara

After Bubba Ray and D’Von Dudley called out Neville and told him to find a partner on the WWE RAW pre-show, Neville brought out Sin Cara as his partner.

This match was actually quite fun as it featured two drastically contrasting styles in the ring together. In the end, though, it was a moment of “miscommunication” and then quick kicks from Neville that won his team the match.

Winners: Neville and Sin Cara

Rusev and Lana Celebrate Their Marriage

After being married a few weeks ago, Rusev and Lana had a celebration of their marriage on WWE RAW. It was horribly long and was predictably interrupted by Roman Reigns when Rusev asked for a Best Man.

After sarcastically trying to give a toast, Rusev and Reigns started throwing down. However, that ultimately ended with Lana getting in the way and getting sent into the cake in the ring.

You have to think that Rusev will now accept Roman’s challenge for a match at SummerSlam over the US title.

Sasha Banks vs Dana Brooke

With the stipulation being that Dana losing would leave her banned from ringside at SummerSlam for Sasha vs Charlotte, The Boss got the victory to put the odds in her favor.

Winner: Sasha Banks

An Awesome Finn Balor Promo

New Day vs The Club

After a pun-laden promo about injuring Big E’s nether-regions last weeks, The Club came out and beat the hell out of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, despite New Day’s best efforts.

Winners: The Club

After the match, though, Gallows and Anderson tried to take out Kofi, but Woods made the save with a chair that sent The Club running.

Smackdown’s Here

Daniel Bryan was in Anaheim for RAW to address the situation with Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton.

Instead of that fully happening, though, Rusev ultimately came out to talk about his title and not needing the Universal Championship. This then led to him having his title be put on the line against Reigns as SummerSlam and then having to put the belt on the line against Cesaro in the main event.

Rusev vs Cesaro

This was a good match that ultimately only served to set up Sheamus vs Cesaro further. Cesaro had the match won when the ref turned his back, allowing the Celtic Warrior to come down, lay him out, and let Rusev get the win to retain.

Winner: Rusev

After the match, though, someone had some other plans for the victorious Rusev.

And that was the show with Roman Reigns left standing tall at the end. What’d you think of the next-to-last WWE RAW before SummerSlam?
