Heading into the 2016 college football season, there are a lot of eyes on LSU Tigers running back Leonard Fournette, who is the favorite among many to be the Heisman Trophy winner by the time the season comes to a close. However, that’s not the reason that all eyes are on him Wednesday.

No, unfortunately, all eyes are on the LSU standout running back for a video that has surfaced. In the video obtained by TMZ, Fournette is seen outside Tiger Stadium brawling with teammate Garrett Brumfield, one of the offensive linemen.

You can view it below.

It looks like these two were legitimately going at one another, so you have to wonder what started the beef.

However, LSU will have you learn a different story. In a statement to TMZ, Associate Athletic Director of Communications Michael Bonnette proclaimed that the two were simply just messing around.

"“What you don’t see is when the video cuts off, they hug it out. They’re not mad at each other. No one was injured.”"

Bonnette basically called it a giant game of slap boxing, but whether you want to believe that or not is up to you after watching the footage. It sure looks like they were trying to do some serious harm to one another.

You can be the judge.
