Live stream info and how to watch Olympics men’s rugby sevens online on Day 6 of Rio 2016 on Thursday, August 11

Seeing that we are entering Day 6 of the 2016 Rio Olympics, the Olympics men’s rugby sevens players have to be starting to feel the physical toll of the games. Obviously it’s one of the more grueling and taxing physical sports in the Games, but playing this much in such a short time is a brutal task for even the best athletes. However, the Olympics men’s rugby sevens competition will come to a close on Thursday, August 11 as it will be time to hand out the gold medal (and the others two) after one last day of fantastic action.

Kicking off the day in rugby sevens will be the last place match, or the 11-12 placing match between Brazil and Kenya at 11:30 a.m. ET. Though both teams have struggled hugely, but can end Rio 2016 on a high note. That will be followed by the United States and Spain squaring off in the 9-10 placing match at Noon ET. It’s been a bit disappointing for the USA in rugby at the 2016 Olympics, but a win to end their Games would be a nice send-off.

There will then be two 5-8 placing match with New Zealand vs France starting that at 12:30 p.m. ET. This could be a heavy-hitting and fun matchup to watch that might steal the show. That matchup will be followed by the other 5-8 placing match, Argentina vs Australia at 1:00 p.m. ET. Though that might be the Aussies being favored, you never know what could happen in one final match.

Two semifinals will then take place as the last two matches set going into Day 6 on August 11. It will start with Fiji vs Japan at 1:30 p.m. ET in a matchup that not many people may have seen coming when these Games first began. Great Britain and South Africa are a different story in regards to expectations, but will meet at 2:00 p.m. in the other semifinals matchup nonetheless.

Capping off all of the men’s rugby in Rio will be the 7-8 placing match at 4:30 p.m. ET, the 5-6 placing match at 5:00 p.m. ET, and then the bronze medal match at 5:30 p.m. ET. Of course, it will all come to a close at 6:00 p.m. ET with the gold medal match between the winners of each semifinal.
