Live stream info and how to watch the Olympics men’s handball matches on Saturday, August 13 from Rio 2016 online

The competition in the 2016 Rio Olympics men’s handball competition has compelled everyone watching up to now. However, things are amping up even more as each of the 12 teams has only two preliminary round games remaining. Saturday, August 13’s matches could go a long way in deciding seeding and even who advances to the knockout rounds. Subsequently, all eyes turned to the Olympics mens’ handball on Saturday.

Beginning the day in Olympics men’s handball was a matchup between Germany and Slovenia (8:30 a.m. ET) in Group B. Solvenia entered Saturday as the group leaders, but not by much. With Germany and others not far behind, a win would be appreciated on Day 8. That match will be followed by a matchup between Croatia and France (10:30 a.m. ET) in Group A. Croatia and France also occupy high positions in their respective group and a win for either could be huge in regards to seeding.

Following that game will be Denmark and Qatar (1:40 p.m. ET) squaring off on Saturday afternoon. As of right now, both teams find themselves in the top-four. However, a loss potentially could hurt either team in a big way while a victory could essentially secure a spot in the next round. Egypt and Brazil (3:40 p.m. ET)  will take the court after that, again heading back to Group B. Brazil are in third place with four points earned while Egypt only has two points. Even still, one win for either team changes the landscape of the group.

Finishing off the Group B matches on Day 8 will be Poland and Sweden (6:50 p.m. ET). Sweden are still searching for their first points and victory of the competition while Poland tries to hang on to a top-four spot. Group A will then finish off with Argentina and Tunisia (8:50 p.m. ET) playing one another as the bottom-two teams in the group. They earned just one point combined up to now, so it’ll be interesting to see who breaks through.
