Western Kentucky Football unveils new uniforms for 2016 (Photos)

With the college football season now right around the corner, Western Kentucky is the newest program to unveil new uniforms

As the month of August moves along here in 2016, it’s clearly evident that people are becoming increasingly excited about the beginning of a new college football season. Of course, there are a lot of signs around this time of year that let you know the new season is beginning.

Of course, one of the biggest signs that college football greatness is nearly here is the unveiling of new uniforms by programs. Well, one of the more well-known smaller programs in the country is the latest to show off some new digs — Western Kentucky.

On Saturday, just a mere few weeks before the college football season gets underway, the Hilltoppers showed off some of the uniform combinations that they will be using for the upcoming 2016 college football season.

Really, those are some of the nicer uniform combinations that we have seen thus far. The way that they’re able to incorporate the school’s red color in there really makes them look like a thing of beauty just looking at the pictures.

Over the course of the last few years, Western Kentucky has emerged as one of the more notable smaller programs in the nation. They generally have a nice team put together and last season was another indication of that. They came away with the Conference-USA championship and moved on to the Miami Beach Bowl where they were able to come away with the win over a pretty good South Florida Bulls team. With that win, the expectations are pretty high this season.

But one thing that we do know for sure is that they’ll be navigating the 2016 season with some pretty nice new uniforms.
