With the NFL regular season around the corner, Daniel Radcliffe weighs in on fantasy football and selecting quarterbacks in the first round of the draft.
The NFL preseason got underway last week. With that, it brings us weeks closer to the regular season of America’s most popular sport. Due to the NFL’s high popularity, fantasy football has become a part of many people’s everyday lives throughout the season.
NFL Fantasy has become all the craze over the recent years, whether for diehard NFL fans or casual ones. That is because it gives you the chance of drafting and managing the games’ top players to compete against others for bragging rights.
Sometimes winning your respective league can over help you reach a pot of gold if you play in a pay-to-play league.
With all the fantasy frenzy going on recently, including a 28-hour fantasy football special on ESPN, TMZ caught up with Daniel Radcliffe to talk fantasy football. Radcliffe, better known as “Harry Potter,” gave a couple thoughts on a variety of fantasy football topics. When asked one player he’d like to have on his team, Radcliffe replied with the 2015 NFL MVP, Cam Newton.
Also when asked whether he would take Tom Brady in the first round of a fantasy draft, a slightly ticked off Radcliffe responded with, “You don’t take quarterbacks in the first round, come on you know that. Don’t ask silly questions.”
The Harry Potter star also said that with the first pick in a fantasy draft that he would select 2015 Pro Bowler and Offensive NFL Rookie of Year Todd Gurley. Radcliffe added that his league is a keeper league, one in which the league doesn’t start fresh every season, and Gurley seems to be already taken.
