Nebraska

Tom Osborne is a step below a deity in Nebraska. Osborne led the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers to three national titles (1994, 1995, 1997). His Cornhuskers won 12 Big Eight titles and a Big 12 title, while Osborne received the Big Eight coach of the year award seven times. He had a 255-49-3 record with the Cornhuskers overall. Osborne also served as a member of the House of Representatives and as the Athletic Director at the University of Nebraska.

Andy Roddick is one of the most famous tennis players of all time. He has won over $20 million in career prizes and 32 career titles, including a US Open win in 2003. He has made it to the finals at Wimbledon on three occasions. Roddick was ranked the No. 1 player in the world back in 2003.

Ted DiBiase is one of the most popular WWE superstars of all time. He is most famous for his “Million Dollar Man” gimmick, perhaps the most famous gimmick ever, excluding The Undertaker. DiBiase helped make the WWE popular and despite being a heel for most of his career, is beloved by wrestling fans.

Bob Gibson, one of the best pitchers of all time, is from Omaha, Nebraska. Gibson starred in both basketball and baseball while at Omaha Technical High School, and even spent a year with the Harlem Globetrotters. He was a nine-time All-Star and nine-time Gold Glove winner in 17 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals.
