2. Wilfried Bony

Wilfried Bony has flopped at Manchester City, but he still has qualities that may interest Wenger. The Ivory Coast man looks to have no future with the Citizens after new manager Pep Guardiola left him out of his squad for the Champions League.

It hasn’t worked out for Bony since signing for City, but he still has a commendable scoring record in the Premier League. He helped himself to 16 league goals with Swansea during the 2013-14 season, his last full season as a starter.

Bony is good in the air, despite not being the tallest, and is deceptively quick. He moves well between the lines, but does his best work in the box where he shows a good understanding of the subtlety needed to suddenly separate from his marker.

The player is currently being coveted by West Ham boss Slaven Bilic, according to BBC Sport. Yet, the Gunners have also been mooted as a keen suitor by David Woods of the Daily Star.
