Nintendo has been promoting The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild extensively and with each new clip that they release, we get a different look at the game. In the most recent clip, we get a closer look at some of the arrows that Link will be able to use to do various things in the game. Whether it’s killing Bokoblins and other enemies, or cutting down ropes to create a pathway, the bow and arrow will be a valuable tool in the game.

"Fire, Ice and Bomb Arrows – oh my!https://t.co/GgL7VmWkjR— Nintendo of America (@NintendoAmerica) August 26, 2016"

From the clip, we see three different types of arrows (well, four if you count the arrow in itself). We see fire arrows, ice arrows and bomb arrows and each one can be used in a different way.

We see Link come across a base of Bokoblins that are elevated on some platform connected to a tree. To right of the platform, you see a bridge/pathway connected by two ropes that can be knocked down so that you can walk on up to the platform. You see Link use his regular arrows to cut through those two ropes and immediately, the pathway is made available.

Throughout the rest of the clip, you see Link cycle through the three different types of arrows. The bomb arrows explode on impact, causing a lot of damage hurting everyone in its radius, so that’ll definitely come in handy with big crowds of enemies. The fire arrows also do a lot of damage and seem to hurt the enemies over time because of the burn. Finally, the ice arrows completely freeze the enemies.

In the clip, you see a Bokoblin chasing Link and he utilizes the ice arrows to freeze it. Now, once the enemies are frozen, you can either slice them with your sword, or you can use your fire arrows to blow them up. It’s very cool that we’ll also be able to combine the different elements in one way or another.
