Did Teddy Bridgewater’s injury make Vikings teammates vomit?
By Jack Crosby
Was the injury that Teddy Bridgewater suffered so severe that Minnesota Vikings teammates vomited?
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater may very well be out for the 2016 NFL season after suffering a severe knee injury on Tuesday. Bridgewater went down with a non-contact injury, and what also went down were the chances that the Vikings can make a legitimate Super Bowl run this year.
Now, with such a high-profile player going down in that fashion, there were a lot of reports coming out from a variety of outlets. However, there is one particular report that seems to have captured everyone’s attention.
There has not been an official diagnosis for the Vikings signal-caller just yet at this time, but apparently it was so severe and gruesome that some Vikings teammates vomited at the very sight of it. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport had that story.
If the reports of Bridgewater’s knee flailing around in his leg are true, can you really blame them for vomiting when seeing their quarterback like that? Heck, I know I probably would, I’m not afraid to admit that.
Here’s where things get a little sketchy, though. After that report came out, Sam Newton, who works in PR for the team, took to Twitter to specifically state that no Vikings players were on the field puking after the injury.
Is this the most important part of the Bridgewater story? No, not by any means. The most important part of all this is that Bridgewater can hopefully make a speedy, healthy recovery and get back out there on the field with his teammates.

But nonetheless, everything about what happened on Tuesday is being run over with a fine tooth comb. Whether or not Vikings players were out there throwing up just happens to be part of that.
The thing is — we just don’t really know whether or not it actually took place.
In an update, we may actually have some clarification here. It appears now that Rapoport was a bit misunderstood with his original report.
So, that’s all settled then.
