For most fantasy football owners, it’s getting close to draft night! One of the deepest and most important positions to make sure you’re fully prepped for is running back. There are lost of options to choose from and with all the injuries it turns into a battle of attrition by the end of the season. To help you know who to draft,  check out my RB Rankings of my top 85 running backs in the box below

This season, FanSided is working with FantasyPros.com to give you access to some great tools to get ready for your draft. When you head over there you’ll find tools for mock drafts, cheat sheet creators, and even their draft assistant to walk you through your entire draft.

If this is your first year playing fantasy football, check out my 10 tips for beginners to get a grasp on overall strategy and how to approach your rookie season.  If you’re a more seasoned owner, you already know how important cheatsheets are to your draft strategy.

For plenty of running backs content, check out my previews of each team’s backfield situation which you can find by checking out my latest post in the series which featured the San Francisco 49ers running backs. I’ll be wrapping up that series leading up to Opening Night. Earlier this preseason, I highlighted five undervalued RB and my Top 10 RB breakout candidates.

To see exactly where I would rank all those options in the overall scheme of your draft, check out my RB Rankings below.  You can easily see each back’s bye week, so you make sure you don’t get over-loaded with running backs that have the same week off.

For the top 50 WR, I’ve also included notes analyzing why they are ranked where they are. The running backs are listed in the order that I would take them based on standard scoring guidelines, but be sure to double-check if you’re league has any unique wrinkles. I suggest you use these rankings to let you know the best available option throughout your draft. It would be helpful to cross off or delete players when they are taken, so that you’re aware of how many receivers are going and when you need to draft yours.
