Norway face Germany in World Cup qualifying on Sunday, Sept. 4. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Germany will look to put the disappointment of their loss to France in the semifinals of Euro 2016 behind them in their return to competitive action against Norway on Sunday. The Germans started the international break with a 2-0 win against Finland. The friendly match served mostly as a sendoff for retiring captain Bastian Schweinsteiger. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will now take over as captain. Despite Schweinsteiger’s retirement, the squad has a familiar look to it, with Thomas Muller, Mesut Ozil, Toni Kroos and Mats Hummels all expected to star.

Norway are hoping to qualify for their first World Cup since 1998. They face a difficult task in a group containing the Czech Republic and Northern Ireland along with Germany, but will take heart from their performance in Euro 2016 qualifying, when they finished third behind two of the best teams in Europe, Italy and Croatia. If they can perform as expected against the smaller nations (Azerbaijan and San Marino are the final two teams in the group), then a top two finish isn’t out of the question. Still, they may have hoped for an easier opponent to start to the qualification process than the world champions.

The World Cup qualifier between Norway and Germany will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 2. Live streaming is available on Fox Sports GO, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the Fox Sports GO app.

Germany will be heavy favorites even away from home, and likely come out of the blocks quickly in attempt to forget their disappointing showing at the Euros this summer. The Norwegians have a chance at home, but not a very good one.
