Travis Rudolph, a wide receiver for Florida State, hooked up his new friend, Bo Paske, with a personalized jersey and tickets prior to the game against Ole Miss.

Finally, a story that America can’t get enough of, and for all the right reasons. We all read the story of Travis Rudolph connecting with a young boy during his visit to a local middle school. He noticed Bo Paske, an 11-year old with autism, sitting by himself at lunch so he decided to join him:

It seems as though the friendship will continue past lunch as Rudolph visited with Bo and his mother to give the child a very special gift. He presented Bo with his very own Seminoles jersey personalized with “PASKE” on the back, along with Rudolph’s number, 15. He then gave him two tickets to Monday night’s game against Ole Miss:

There’s absolutely nothing better than seeing this story get so much attention. I remember going to a Michigan football game as a kid and Braylon Edwards being one of my biggest heroes. Edwards caught a ball in the corner of the end zone during warm-ups and ran over and gave me a high-five. I was on top of the world due to something so small and simple, and I’m sure that Bo feels all of that, times a million.

Bo and his mom will now be in the stands Monday night for one of the biggest college football games of the year — No. 11 Ole Miss against No. 4 Florida State. I can tell you one thing for certain about the game, nobody will be cheering louder for Rudolph than the Paske’s.

I hope the attention continues to pour in for Travis Rudolph. He did something so simple, yet something not many would have the wherewithal to do. So, good luck to Rudolph and the Seminoles in tonights game. In the meantime, I’m going to go watch that video of Travis and Bo until my cheekbones hurt.
