Spain face Liechtenstein in World Cup qualifying on Monday, Sept. 5. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Spain are entering a new era after early exits in the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016. Vicente Del Bosque is out after eight years in the job. Julen Lopetegui takes his place after two years at Porto. Lopetegui got off to a winning start against Belgium last week, winning 2-0 thanks to two David Silva goals. It was an impressive performance against a good Belgium team. The only bad news was that Alvaro Morata had to be taken off with an injury, though he is expected back in time for this match against Liechtenstein. Either way, Diego Costa is a more than capable backup.

Liechtenstein do, technically, have a chance of both winning this game and qualifying for the World Cup, but it is about as slim as these chances get. The nation has never qualified for a World Cup and has finished better than last in their qualifying group only once. You can hardly blame them given the country’s population is less than 40,000, but it does mean the main (if not only) point of interest in this match will be Spain’s continued development under their new manager.

The World Cup qualifier between Spain and Liechtenstein will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1. Live streaming is available on Fox Sports GO, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through the Fox Sports GO app.

Date: Sunday, Sept. 5
Start time: 2:45 p.m. ET
Location: Leon, Spain
Stadium: Estadio Reino de Leon
TV Info: Fox Sports 1
Live Stream: Fox Sports GO

Spain will want to get off to a quick start in a group that also contains Italy, who beat them comfortably in the round of 16 at the Euros. That shouldn’t be too big of an ask against the world’s 182nd-ranked team.
