14. Dallas Cowboys (via CHI)

14. player. 123.
Jerry Jones has always been a gambler at heart and he loves a good trade whenever the opportunity comes up. There is no doubt one of the prominent concerns with his team at the moment is the edge rusher positions. Not only did they lose Greg Hardy to free agency (even though it was the right move), they also won’t have Randy Gregory and Demarcus Lawrence for the first month of the season due to suspensions.

Of the two Gregory has become a serious concerns due to his off-the-field problems. Dallas has to seriously consider bringing in some insurance next year in case the issues persist.

Derek Barnett is flying a little bit under the radar coming out of Tennessee but there is no doubt this guy is a form fit for the Cowboys’ aggressive 4-3 scheme as a defensive end. He’s got the size and strength to handle his duties as a run stopper but exhibits the flexibility to dip his hips when getting around the edge.

Coupled with a strong burst off the snap and it’s little wonder he had 10 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss in 2015. As he continues to improve his hand use, which is already ahead of schedule, he will be among the most polished rushers in the class.
. DE. Tennessee. Derek Barnett
