Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor make up a trio that cannot be equaled in the NFL. Even they have their limits though. It’s never a crime to desire filling in the other spots at the second boundary corner and nickel corner positions.</p> <p>Jeremy Lane and Tharold Simon are decent options but rarely stand out. What can the harm be in trying to acquire another top tier talent to join that already elite cast?</p> <p>In such case Pete Carroll and John Schneider prefers corners who play a physical brand of football. An in-your-face style where they get up on the line of scrimmage and make it difficult for receivers to get off the jam. Sidney Jones showed he was that kind of player in 2015. Not a surprise since he comes from the same system that produced Marcus Peters.</p> <p>There are few size concerns and he has the speed to recover if beaten off the line. Scheme fit, mentality and even proximitiy are all there. It’s not a hard pick to sell.</p>. CB
