NBA Hall of Fame ceremony live stream: How to watch online

The 2016 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be at 7:30 PM ET on Friday, September 9th. Here’s how to watch the event online.

Friday will see several new members inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in the 2016 Hall of Fame Class. The ceremony kicks off at 7:30 PM ET on Friday, September 9th at the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. NBA TV has exclusive broadcasting rights for this event and the live stream will be available at NBA.com.

Going into Springfield on Friday night include Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson, Yao Ming, Tom Izzo, Jerry Reinsdorf, and Sheryl Swoopes. O’Neal was the most dominant big man of his time and a four-time NBA champion most notably with the Los Angeles Lakers. Iverson was the 2001 NBA MVP leading the Philadelphia 76ers to the NBA Finals.

Yao was a star center for the Houston Rockets and paved the way for basketball in the Far East to come stateside. Izzo’s body of work as the head coach of the Michigan State Spartans is simply undeniable. Reinsdorf is the owner of the Chicago Bulls, present for all six NBA Championships in the Michael Jordan era. Swoopes starred collegiately at Texas Tech, in the WNBA for the Houston Comets, and internationally for Team USA.
