Which teams will be playing on Sunday Night Football in Week 2?

After a strange first week in the NFL, it’s time to get ready for Week 2. With Thursday Night Football games taking place, the turnaround is short for football fans. While everyone can’t wait to see their favorite team play, the marquee games of the week tend to dominate the ratings. Last week, the New England Patriots came away with a win on the road against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday Night Football on NBC.

This week, Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth will be on the call for the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings. This is the first regular season game at the Vikings’ new stadium and it will be an exciting game between hated rivals. It won’t have the same feel without Teddy Bridgewater, but it could be the first chance to see Sam Bradford.

Mike Zimmer won’t show his hand until the game, but Shaun Hill was serviceable in the Vikings’ first game at Tennessee. He protected the football and that is all that a coach can ask out of a backup quarterback. The Packers are coming off a win on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Both of these teams want to be the NFC North Champions and getting a win over the other early in the season can go a long way. There is nothing bigger than a divisional game and it’s a fitting game for Sunday Night Football.
