9. Indianapolis Colts

CB. Florida. Jalen Tabor . 9. player. 46. The fact that the Indianapolis Colts were forced to hand millions of dollars to Antonio Cromartie just weeks before the regular season pretty much says the state their secondary is in. Vontae Davis, their prized Pro Bowl corner is dealing with an ankle injury that could force him to miss a third of the season. Behind him? Not much to be excited about, which is a frightening thought considering how questionable their pass rush is as well. That’s why the Colts can’t postpone getting another cover corner any longer.
They should feel fortunate they’re able to land Jalen Tabor. The Florida product might be even more talented than his former teammate Vernon Hargreaves. He taller and longer and seems to have greater fluidity and make-up speed in coverage. The instinct and ball skills are there as well. It’s not his game that will scare teams but his tendency to get in trouble. Tabor has endured multiple suspensions during his time with the Gators. Assuming he stays out of trouble, this is a player that could give the Colts so much needed stability on the back end.
