Fantasy Premier League continues this week. Here’s a look at some players to pick up and some to avoid in Week 5 action.

After a week of Manchester derby-dominated the Premier League coverage, it’s time to move on. Last week saw many owners see some of their players grab more than 10 points, thanks to two- and three-goal performances.

If you owned players like Son Heung-min and Romeulo Lukau, lucky you! The two were the highlight performers last week, with Chelsea’s Diego Costa grabbing 12 after a two-goal match against Swansea.

This week, we have some new faces to watch out for, and one that was mentioned last week.

With four matches played already, some of the big names have started to produce like they should be. That does mean you will need to watch closely at performances, but there are still some cheaper players to consider going forward.

The FPL site has started to raise player prices, with the likes of Gareth McAuley going up £0.2, and others like Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Diego Costa and Alvaro Negredo seeing their price rise by £0.4.

With those players seeing improvement, others like Cesc Fabregas, Yaya Toure and Henrikh Mkhitaryan have had their prices decline.

Prices and form are starting to play a factor in your decision making, and with that, here are some players you should look to sign and some that you should avoid in week five play.
