LSU Tigers running back Leonard Fournette brutally ended a Mississippi State defensive back on Saturday night.

Leonard Fournette was back in the fold for the LSU Tigers on Saturday night, and he brought the pain early. With the Tigers looking to set a physical tone against the Bulldogs, Fournette made sure to stare straight into the soul of Bulldogs defensive back Brandon Bryant.

As Bryant tried to bring Fournette down, he was delivered a nasty stiff-arm. Bryant hit the deck quick and it was brutal to watch his body bounce off the the grass in such a demoralizing fashion. It was yet another sign of the monster that is Fournette, when he gets the ball in his hands.

These are the types of runs that have Fournette projected to be a high pick in the NFL Draft. With this type of physicality, it’s going to be tough for a young defensive back to bring him down. The bigger guys up front already struggle enough when trying to tackle a freak like Fournette.

The Tigers got on the board first and it was all behind the pace of their star running back. For a team that needs to play angry, watching a running back pound a defensive back right into next year is a great start.
