Make sure to get these players into your fantasy football lineup in this matchup between the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans.

This Week 2 matchup between the Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans may be a sneaky fantasy relevant game. Neither team has a particularly reliable offensive attack, but there are certainly a handful of players with a nice fantasy upside.

With both teams having a shaky defense, players on both sides can make a big impact on Week 2 fantasy football matchups. Let’s take a look at the five best fantasy starts in the game between the Lions and Titans.

5. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Detroit Lions

As a rookie last season, Detroit Lions running back Ameer Abdullah could never get going on a consistent basis. Abdullah has all of the talent in the world, but the Lions struggled to keep him involved in the offense.

That being said, it is a different season. Perhaps Abdullah can be more consistent in 2016.

He certainly started his season off right last week against the Indianapolis Colts. Abdullah rushed for 63 yards on only 12 carries, while also hauling in five receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown.

Abdullah looked as sharp and explosive as every before last week, which is hopefully a sign of things to come. Theo Riddick will undoubtedly have a role in the Lions’ backfield week in and week out as well, but Abdullah has a chance to be the primary guy.

This offense has some nice upside, and Abdullah is a major part of that. The Titans’ run defense was top-notch last week, but I highly doubt they pay as much attention to Abdullah as they did Adrian Peterson.

The floor of Abdullah is relatively scary. He is still an unreliable option who could easily disappear. That being said, Abdullah looked great last week. Taking a chance on him in worth the risk against the Titans.
