10. Cleveland Browns (via PHI)

Courtesy of their trade with Philadelphia, the Brown have another pick in the top 10. The Eagles have done a fine job reshaping their roster but they’re still a team with a rookie at quarterback. Odds say Carson Wentz will have his ups and downs. So this feels like a fair spot since it’s similar to where Jameis Winston finished in his first year with the Buccaneers.
Having already secured the best quarterback in the class, how fitting would it be for the Browns to next lock up the best running back? Indeed that’s how this scenario plays out. Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson are solid backs but neither are true bell cows at the end of the day. Teams can have success with committee backfield but in truth nothing compares to have a serious workhorse.

That is the definition of what Leonard Fournette is about. Another of those rare physical specimens like an Adrian Peterson where he has the complete repertoire. He runs with power, able to easily break tackles and shrug off defenders like mosquitoes. Yet also boast that extra speed gear that allows him to break long gains once into the open field. Pair him with DeShone Kizer? Now the Browns are in business.
. RB. LSU.
