Real Madrid face Villarreal at the Bernabeu on Wednesday, Sept. 21. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Real Madrid have gotten off to a perfect start in La Liga, winning each of their first four games by a combined score of 12-3 to lead the league by three points. They have played Real Sociedad, Celta Vigo, Osasuna and Espanyol, so Villarreal should offer them their toughest test to date. Gareth Bale has been Real’s star so far this season, scoring three league goals, as Cristiano Ronaldo works his way back to full fitness after winning Euro 2016 with Portugal this summer. Ronaldo did score a crucial free-kick in the Champions League last week with Los Blancos trailing 1-0 at home to Sporting, but he otherwise struggled to have a consistent impact on the game.

Villarreal finished fourth in La Liga last season, and have gotten off to another solid start this term, winning two and drawing two. There has been some disappointment however, as the Yellow Submarine were knocked out of the Champions League by Monaco in the playoff round. Nicola Sansone leads the team with three goals, as new manager Fran Escriba continues to put his stamp on the team.

Real will be big favorites, especially at the Bernabeu, but it will be interesting to see how they perform in their toughest La Liga game of the season so far. With Barcelona playing Atletico Madrid on the same day, they’ll be hoping to strengthen their grip at the top of the table.
