Let’s take a look at the highlights and top performers from Thursday night’s Clemson vs Georgia Tech game.

Clemson entered Thursday night’s game as a major favorite, but Dabo Swinney knows that no victory in ACC play is just handed away. The Tigers had almost lost a couple of weeks ago against an inferior Troy team, so Georgia Tech presented a tougher matchup.

Mike Williams and Wayne Gallman got things off to a quick start for the Tigers, each scoring a touchdown in the first quarter while the defense held Georgia Tech in negative yardage.

The entire first half was complete and utter dominance in favor of Clemson, taking a 23-0 lead into the half as well as allowing 23 total yards. The same type of play continued in the second half as the Tigers held Georgia Tech to just seven points and 124 total yards.

Clemson moved one step closer to a conference title and made a statement on Thursday night.

Three Stars

1. Deshaun Watson: How can you not pick Deshaun Watson after a game like this? He was 32-of-48 with 304 yards and two touchdowns.

2. Ray-Ray McCloud: The sophomore wide out had his best game, catching eight passes for 101 yards and adding a 17-yard run.

3. Mike Williams: Williams’ numbers didn’t jump out of the stat sheet, but he added his first touchdown of the year and finished with six catches for 61 yards.
