Here’s a look at what college football fans can expect during the fourth week of the 2016 season, including predictions for the Top 25 teams in action.

As we enter the final weekend of the month of September, college football has seen quite the interesting first three weeks. We’ve seen championship contenders like Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Ole Miss say goodbye to those hopes.

At the same time, Louisville may be the surprise team this season and doesn’t look like it wants to go away at any time soon, along with other teams like Stanford, Michigan State and Washington who are determined to make the rest of the year interesting.

Here’s a look ahead at Week Four of the 2016 college football season.

Game of The Week – No. 11 Wisconsin at No. 8 Michigan State

When the 2016 season started, the Spartans were expected to be up there as a team that would compete with rivals Michigan and Ohio State for the Big 12 East Division title. At the same time, there was really no one outside the state of Wisconsin who thought that the Badgers had a shot of being a part of the discussion for the West Division crown.

An early season upset win over than fifth-ranked LSU has Wisconsin feeling pretty good about themselves, even though they probably shouldn’t be happy after almost losing to Georgia State this week. Michigan State, meanwhile, is counting their lucky stars they didn’t blow a big lead on the road last weekend at Notre Dame and are still unbeaten.

For the Badgers, this is part of a four-game stretch that can not be defined by any other word than “mammoth”. Following their game with Sparty, they will take on Michigan, Ohio State and Iowa in consecutive games.

Translation: we are going to find out real quick how ready they are to compete in the Big Ten this season or if the win over LSU was just a one time deal.
