8. Tom Herman

Tom Herman is highly regarded as one of the best young coaches in all of college football, and he should have some high profile schools coming after him very soon. Currently, Herman is the head coach of Houston, and has led the Cougars to a 3-0 record this season. In his two seasons with Houston, Herman has put together a 16-1 record. Not bad for a guy in his first head coaching gig.

The 41-year old has been trying to get his first head coaching job since he was a 23-year-old assistant at Texas Lutheran. Back then, Herman coached the wide receivers, but he really cut his teeth as an offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach for schools like Iowa State and Ohio State. Now the man in charge, Herman is dominating the college football landscape.

Most people don’t know this, but Herman is very smart. He’s a member of Mensa, something he accomplished so his players at Rice knew he was just as smart as them. Herman also worked in television production, so he’s about as well-rounded an individual as there is in college football.

Partying with Herman would be great because not only is he becoming a legend in Houston, but he also worked the TV circuit in Los Angeles. He’s as cool as they come in college football, and a night out with him would definitely be an exciting time.
