Looking at the best ESPN College GameDay signs in Week 4 as they occupy Neyland Stadium ahead of Florida vs Tennessee

There’s certainly no love lost between the Florida Gators and Tennessee Volunteers. Of course, that can be said of most big-time SEC programs. However, the quality of these two teams hoping to vault into the College Football Playoff only raises the stakes. Subsequently, it was only natural that ESPN College GameDay would head to Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, TN on Saturday. Moreover, it only figures that the GameDay signs would be fantastic.

Whether you’re an SEC football fan or not, you have to give credit to SEC crowds. These students and other fans always bring the noise whenever GameDay signs are involved. Thus, those who love that sort of thing and the comedy of it had to be excited about what was coming from Knoxville.

And predictably, the Tennessee home crowd wasn’t about to disappoint. The signs were absolutely fantastic throughout, much better than last week at Louisville (though the Lamar Jackson/Tecmo Bowl sign was an all-timer).

That being said, let’s take a look at the best GameDay signs that Knoxville had to offer on Saturday morning.

I’m not sure about the accuracy of Butch Jones’ involvement in the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt split. However, that doesn’t mean it’s not a fantastic addition to the GameDay signs. Really, all this confirms is that you can’t go wrong in this department when you go to an SEC school.

Now the hope is that this SEC matchup lives up to the hype created on ESPN College GameDay. This is Tennessee’s second visit from the show this season in only four weeks. They won their first in the Battle of Bristol. Now we’ll see if they can do it again, this time against a much better opponent than Virginia Tech.
