Florida Gators cornerback Jalen Tabor would leave the game against Tennessee and head to the locker room.

For as bad as the Tennessee Volunteers played in the first half, they came out with a fire to start the second half. Joshua Dobbs was hitting receivers with perfect throws and they were catching his passes. The Florida Gators had built up a decent lead, but they didn’t look as sharp as they did at the beginning. Jalen Tabor getting hurt didn’t help.

As the Volunteers were driving, Tabor would go to the ground and it looked like he began cramping up. He appeared to have been shaken up after taking a solid hit on the field.

As he was helped off the field, an already thin Gators secondary took a huge hit. To make things worse, Tabor would have to be taken to the locker room.

That’s the last thing the Gators needed as they were trying to hold onto their lead. Dobbs was heating up for the Volunteers and he was really picking apart their secondary. If it wasn’t for big drops early by Tennessee, the Gators’ secondary might have even allowed more points.

If the Gators are going to compete against the other teams in the SEC, then they’re going to need Tabor out on the field lined up at cornerback.
