Twitter was absolute ruthless to the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday, as they got destroyed by Florida in the first half.

The Tennessee Volunteers had the biggest game in the SEC on Saturday, as they played host to the Florida Gators. After one half of play, the Volunteers were melting down and fast. Their receivers could not catch passes and Joshua Dobbs threw a crucial interception in the end zone.

Things got so bad, that their own fans began booing them off the field. While their home fans were rough on the team, Twitter was even worst. Whether it was memes or just savage tweets, people weren’t too kind to the poor performance from the Volunteers. To say they got roasted would be an understatement.

Needless to say, Twitter wasn’t afraid to go to their file cabinets and bust out the finest quality of memes to describe what was happening in Knoxville. Tennessee has been a tire fire waiting to happen after barely beating Appalachian State and Ohio.

Now, they’re facing an SEC team and things could not go worse. If the second half goes as poorly as the first one, then the roast of the Volunteers will become even worse. Getting beat by a better team happens, but to play the way they did warranted getting roasted.
