10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football week 3
Christine Michael-Seattle Seahawks
Michael hasn’t gone off to start the season like some of his owners were hoping, but he has been working hard and carrying the load for Seattle. The Seahwks have made it clear that they are still waiting for Thomas Rawls to be able to return to the field as their starter, but with Rawls doubtful for today we should get another C-Mike show.
Given the workload he’ll have and the matchup he’s in, Michael has the potential to be a top-10 running back. He has run for 126 yards in the Seahawks’ first two games an added 31 yards on five catches out of the backfield. Michael hasn’t found his way into the end zone and had a brutal fumble which sealed the Seahawks Week 2 loss in Los Angeles.
Even with his costly fumble, Michael should get plenty of work this week and coach Pete Carroll has said he hopes to get him 20+ carries in today’s game. Remember that Fozzy Whittaker put up 100 yards last week against the 49ers, and dream about just how big Micheal’s total could end up being if Seattle feeds him the ball all day long. Get him in your lineup this week as one of the best RB sleepers on the board.
