Winner: Ole Miss Rebels (No. 23 up to No. 16)

What can we make of the Ole Miss Rebels through four weeks of the season? Honestly, no one truly knows what this team is just yet. Through the first three weeks, the Rebels lost to a pair of top-five teams, holding a commanding lead in both games.

In Week 1, the Rebels took a 28-6 lead over No. 4 Florida State before the Seminoles stormed back and won 45-34. It was an impressive showing through the first half for Ole Miss, but the second half was all Deondre Francois and the Seminoles.

The next game was a blowout of Wofford, as expected. The team did what everyone thought it would and beat down an inferior opponent.

Then Ole Miss hosted Alabama, taking an early 24-3 lead and it looked like the Rebels would cruise to their third straight win over Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide. Alabama, just like Florida State, steamrolled the Rebels throughout the remainder of the game, taking a 48-43 victory from right under Ole Miss’ nose.

Hosting No. 12 Georgia in Week 4 would either make or break the Rebels’ 2016 season. A loss would make Ole Miss 1-3 with an 0-3 record against ranked foes, but it blew the doors off of Georgia, 45-14.

As long as Chad Kelly plays to his potential, this team is going to be tough to bear. No bad losses and a good win on the year mean the No. 16 Rebels are still in the playoff hunt.
