4. New Orleans Saints

Clemson. Deshaun Watson . 4. player. 15. The same problems continue to bedevil the New Orleans Saints. Their defense is inconsistent and unreliable. They can’t run the ball with any consistency. So when the offense isn’t able to put up lots of points, they tend to lose. How much longer can they survive trying to win like that? Given the age of Drew Brees, the odds are not in their favor. This team is playing against time now.
How much longer are they going to play chicken at quarterback? Brees is not the same player he was four years ago. His arm strength has diminished and there is no telling how much longer his body can take the hits. The Saints need to seriously consider finding a young quarterback they can start grooming behind the future Hall of Famer. Having the No. 4 overall pick presents their greatest opportunity to date.

His hype has quieted somewhat since last year thanks to the rise of Kizer, but Deshaun Watson is still one of the best quarterbacks in college football. He may not have the same size (6-foot-2) or arm strength as Kizer, but he’s got enough of both to go along with precise accuracy and elite athleticism. Put him under the savvy guidance of Sean Payton? New Orleans could be set up for years to come.
. QB
