Everton face Crystal Palace at Goodison Park on Friday, Sept. 30. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Everton experienced their first setback of the season last week, losing 1-0 away against Bournemouth. Ronald Koeman’s side weren’t terrible, but they seemed to lack the energy and intensity that served them so well in their first five games. The concern for the Toffees is that they’ve been blessed with a relatively easy start to the season (they drew with Tottenham on opening day, but opening day performances are often misleading), so it will be interesting to see how they respond to adversity. They have more than enough talent to beat Crystal Palace, a good team in their own right, and Koeman’s teams are usually very strong mentally, but this is a big game for a side hoping to challenge for Europe this term.

Crystal Palace have won three games in a row now, and the attacking shortcomings that plagued them last season seem to have disappeared. Christian Benteke has two goals in four league games already and is generally thriving in a system that plays to his strengths. Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend are as dangerous a pair of traditional wingers as you’ll find in the league right now. Townsend, in particular, has impressed since joining the Eagles from Newcastle over the summer, and will want to show up former teammate and current Everton winger Yannick Bolasie.
