Chelsea cruised to a 2-0 win against Hull thanks to goals from Willian and Diego Costa. Here are all the highlights and goals.

11:51 That’s it! Full time. Easy win for Chelsea in the end after an uninspiring first half.

11:45 Marcos Alonso plays a good cross across the 6-yard box, but Pedro can’t finish at the back post. Willian is off for Nathaniel Chalobah.

11:44 Oscar tries his luck from range, but it’s an easy save for David Marshall.

11:41 There’s a lot of players walking around out there at the minute. Moses comes off for Pedro, and gets a nice ovation from the Chelsea fans.

11:37 Costa slices over at the back post after a Willian free-kick. The Blues are cruising now. Sam Clucas is off for Hull; Tom Huddlestone come on.

11:31 Chelsea in total control now. They could score a few more here if they want to.

11:24 Costa goal!! This time Costa curls in from the top of the box. Very similar finish to Willian’s. Hull 2-0 Chelsea.

11:23 Chelsea totally dominant now. Lots of mistakes creeping into Hull’s game.

11:18 Willian goal!! Great finish from the Brazilian. He picks the ball up 25 yards out, cuts inside and curls a finish top corner.

11:14 N’Golo Kante wins the ball in midfield and plays in Costa, who rounds the keeper, but can only hit the post. Kante hits the rebound well over. Hazard was wide open back post for the entire play. Great chance.

11:11 Second half has more or less picked up where the first left off. Chelsea look slightly better, and are passing the ball around a little quicker, but no breakthrough. Lot of lingering shots of Cesc Fabregas looking sad on the bench.

11:05 Hazard beats two players and drills a shot from 20 yards. Tipped over for a corner.

11:02 We’re back. Second half under way.

10:52 Here’s some stats:

10:49 Halftime. Chelsea fans not particularly pleased.

10:47 Mason drills a shot from about 25 yards. It’s not bad, but a relatively easy save for Courtois.

10:40 This game could probably best be described as “not good.”

10:36 Willian wins a free-kick about 30 yards out, wide left for Chelsea. Willian takes, but not very well and Hull clear.

10:32 Moses fouls Andrew Robertson in a dangerous area for Hull. Snodgrass whips in a great free-kick, and it’s turned behind by Costa for a corner.

10:24 Moses seems to be trying to break the record for number of ineffectual dribbles in a single half. He’s on five right now. Here’s one of them that some people thought should be a foul:

10:21 Luiz finds Diego Costa at the top of the Hull box. Costa rolls the ball slightly ahead of Willian about 16 yards out, but Willian can’t connect properly on the stretch. Missed opportunity.

10:19 Hull come close again. The cross comes in and drops to Ryan Mason at the back post. His shot is blocked behind for a corner.

10:17 Victor Moses doing a lot of dribbling down the right wing. Not with any real purpose, but still.

10:11 Luiz’s shot is terrible, right into the shins of the wall.

10:10 Eden Hazard wins a free-kick 30 yards out. Luiz stands over it.

10:06 Hull have started very well here. Chelsea have barely had a kick so far.

10:03 Robert Snodgrass takes the free-kick, which takes a slight deflection off the wall. Great save by Thibaut Courtois.

10:02 Early free-kick for Hull after a clumsy David Luiz challenge.

10:00 We’re under way!

Chelsea started the season with three straight wins under new manager Antonio Conte, but things have been going downhill since then. After drawing 2-2 to Swansea in Week 4, they went on to lose consecutive matches to Liverpool and Arsenal.

The Arsenal loss in particular highlighted the problems facing Conte as he hopes to guide this team back into title contention. The Gunners were terrific in the 3-0 win, but the way Chelsea collapsed after conceding an early goal was all too reminiscent of their struggles last season.

Hull, meanwhile, have been on a difficulty run of their own. They haven’t won in four matches since taking six points from their first two games. However, they’ve faced a tough fixture list, and their only three losses have come against Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.

They were thrashed 5-1 at Anfield last week, after an early red card to Ahmed Elmohamady. It was a difficult day for the Tigers, but given their off-pitch struggles, it shouldn’t be too hard to move on from one bad day at the office.

Caretaker manager Mike Phelan has done a good job so far, but there is still lots of uncertainty surrounding his future. He has probably done enough to earn a full-time offer, but a good result against Chelsea would obviously help his case.

The big team news is Conte’s decision to leave out Oscar. Moses starts in his place. Here’s the full teamsheet:

Chelsea probably need this win more, considering their recent form. But Hull have looked strong so far and will be hopeful of exploiting what has looked like a very, very shake Blues backline.
