Week 5 of the college football season is over and it’s time to get irrational about all of the action from the field.

Week 5 of college football might have been the wildest one yet. It featured a Hail Mary to win a game along with a heavyweight showdown that was an instant classic. It delivered on every single level and it also provided one of the best game-winning celebrations in college football history, courtesy of a kicker.

With the week that was over, it’s time to break down what happened. That means it’s time to become irrational and overreact to what occurred. Here are five overreactions from Week 5 of the college football season.

5. Three of four playoff teams are set

After Saturday night, it’s safe to say that three of the four teams are set for the College Football Playoff. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Ohio State Buckeyes and Clemson Tigers should all feel comfortable about their spot currently. Saturday once again proved how great these teams are.

Clemson should feel even more comfortable now, as they passed their toughest tests of the season. If they can just win out, they should be in the playoff and have a chance at redemption. Deshaun Watson returned and reminded everyone why he is the best quarterback in college football.

If those three are in, then it’s going to be a battle for the final spot. If Washington can have a perfect season, then they will get in. If not, don’t count out Michigan if they only have one loss or the Houston Cougars.
