Dwight Howard hasn’t taken a look at the Golden State Warriors roster.

The Golden State Warriors are the heavy favorites to win the NBA title for the second time in three seasons. They won an NBA-record 73 games and returned to the NBA Finals and after losing, made a big splash with the signing of Kevin Durant to give the Warriors arguably the deadliest starting five of all-time. However, Dwight Howard doesn’t really care about them or seem to know who is even on the team.

“Well, to be honest with you, I haven’t even looked at Golden State,” Howard said, via CBS Sports. “That’s the honest-to-God truth. I’m happy for [Kevin Durant]. But I haven’t really had a chance to really sit down, I don’t really know who’s on their team. I just glanced on the game for a couple minutes.”

To be fair, Howard has a lot more to worry about than the Warriors. His focus is currently on helping the Atlanta Hawks get a chance to face the Warriors, or whoever represents the Western Conference, in the NBA Finals. Howard has always been a goofball and this isn’t the last time fans will hear Howard say something that makes them shake their head.

In case Howard needs some help, the Warriors have Steph Curry, Durant, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andre Iguodala for starters. Coming off the bench, they will have Shaun Livingston and David West. Damian Jones should be joining the team once he is fully healthy.

Howard has no need to worry about the Warriors for now. His focus has to be on the relatively weak Eastern Conference. If the Hawks can find a way to get past the Cleveland Cavaliers, perhaps then Howard will have to care about the Warriors roster.

Last season, Howard averaged 13.7 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game with the Houston Rockets. He also averaged 1.6 blocks per game. Howard should give the Hawks an athletic option inside the paint.
