Alabama defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick returned an interception 100 yards for a touchdown against Arkansas.

The Alabama defensive backs do a great job disguising coverage and forcing the opposing quarterback into making bad throws. On Saturday night, it looked like the Arkansas Razorbacks were going to mount a little bit of a comeback against Alabama. That was until Minkah Fitzpatrick made a huge play to put the game out of reach.

As Arkansas got into Alabama territory and had a chance to cut the lead, Austin Allen threw a dangerous ball into coverage in the end zone. Fitzpatrick got his hands on the ball deep into the end zone and ended up returning it the length of the field for a 100-yard pick-six. To make things even more impressive, it was his third interception of the night.

While it was a huge play from Fitzpatrick, the Alabama defense did a good job getting pressure on the quarterback during the drive and forcing him to make a quick decision. Everyone loves a pick-six, but one that goes the length of the field is always impressive.

Once he had the ball in his hands, there was never any doubt that he was going to take the ball all the way. The Razorbacks thought they were slowly getting back into it. Instead, they put a huge dent in their chances.
