The Washington Redskins are looking for a big road win on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

It’s not too often in the National Football League that a road game only requires a short bus trip. Yet that’s exactly what the Redskins face on Sunday afternoon as they take a tour of the Beltway before playing against the host Ravens.

Baltimore is trying to avoid consecutive home losses, something that typically has not happened under the John Harbaugh regime. The Ravens are 3-1 after sustaining their first loss of the year last weekend, falling 28-27 to the Oakland Raiders in the final minutes.

Whoever wins this game has to feel very good about their chances of reaching the postseason, despite it being so early in the year. Washington would be winner of three straight and considering the NFC picture, getting to nine wins might be enough. Baltimore would get to 4-1 and have at least a share of the AFC North lead along with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The matchup to watch here is the Redskins’ weapons against Baltimore’s secondary. The Ravens don’t have good corners, with only Jimmy Smith capable of stopping a legitimate receiver. Meanwhile, the Redskins are rolling deep with receivers DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon, alongside tight end Jordan Reed.
