Madison is the next stop on the 2016 ESPN College GameDay road trip, as Ohio State charges into Badger country to face Wisconsin.
After an incredible Week 6 of college football, which saw a bit of a shakeup in the Top 25, ESPN College GameDay rolls into Madison for a hugeWeek 7 showdown between the Buckeyes and Badgers. The biggest game of the week goes down on Saturday, as Ohio State continue their playoff hopes.
The last time College GameDay was on hand for these two teams was back in 2010. The Badgers pulled off the upset of the year and knocked off the top-ranked Buckeyes to derail their shot at a national title. Ohio State, still ranked #2 with this week’s new Top 25, looks for redemption. Wisconsin has jumped up three spots to #8, but they do have a loss on their record. A win on Saturday would be HUGE for that program.
Last week, GameDay rolled into College Station and ended a couple of huge streaks. They had followed Tennessee around to three different locations this season, to see the Vols pick up the win. Conversely, the crew had been to five different Texas A&M games (four in College Station, one on the road at Colorado) and the Aggies had lost every game. Last Saturday, the the Aggies upended the Vols and picked up a couple of spots in rank.
