The latest betting odds, trends and more for this NFL Week 6 matchup between the Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 1-4 Chicago Bears will play host to the 1-3 Jacksonville Jaguars as part of NFL Week 6 action. These two teams are much closer to the number one overall pick than the Superbowl, but this could be an exciting game worth watching.

Plus, you can always get your money in.

Oddsshark has the Bears listed as 1.5 point favorites for this game. Both team have been struggling mightily at the start of the season, but the Bears have looked better in recent weeks.

Chicago has dealt with a ton of injuries this season, but two in particular may have actually worked in their favor. Brian Hoyer has taken over for Jay Cutler at quarterback, while Jordan Howard has been filling in for an injured Jeremy Langford at running back. Both Hoyer and Howard have been playing extremely well with their opportunities.

So well in fact, that it seems unlikely that Cutler and/or Langford will get their jobs back when they are ready to play. Can Hoyer and Howard continue to impress, or will they begin to regress to the mean? It will be interesting to find out.

Hoyer is a journeyman backup quarterback. I kind of doubt that he becomes the answer at QB for the Bears. That being said, Howard looks like the real deal. The rookie running back is showing a ton of promise and upside at the position, going for over 100 yards rushing in his two starts for the team.

The Jaguars are probably the more talented team here, but they are as inconsistent as they come. Jacksonville has young and dynamic talent all over the field, but they simply have no been able to put it all together on a consistent basis.

The Bears’ defense does not represent much of a test for Jacksonville, but can Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson and company step up enough to come away with the win? Only time will tell.

These teams are not exactly the cream of the crop in the NFL, but there will be some talented players and interesting stories to watch. If nothing else, this could be a fun opportunity to get your money in.
